Our version of Adobo Chicken, with our Dark&Smoky pepper flakes. Chipotle, Ancho, & Habanero. A delicious Filipino inspired dish that’s super easy to make for a quick meal.
Ingredients: 1.5lb chicken thighs - 1/3 cup soy sauce - 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar - 1/4 cup hoisin - 4 cloves garlic - 1 tbsp granulated onion - 2 Bay Leaves - green onions - 2 tbsp Flatiron Pepper Dark&Smoky.
Place the chicken in a large skillet that is large enough to have a single layer of chicken. Mix with some olive or canola oil 2tbsp. Pour in soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves and cook on medium/high heat for 15 minutes, turn chicken every 5 minutes. Then, include hoisin sauce, granulated onion, fresh garlic, and Dark&Smoky. Cook for another 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Remove bay leaves and serve over rice along with fresh green onions on top. Finish with a few shakes of Dark&Smoky.
